|I live in Louisville, KY, need to screen out unsightly buildings behind my house. We lost several evergreens during the ice storm last year and really would like to replace them with something that grows very quickly. Thanks!

|You can plant holly or viburnum if you like broadleaf plants or plant arborvitae if you prefer a conifer looking type plant. Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis) is the best choice because of its fast rate of growth. Choose 'Nigra': pyramidal form; foliage remains dark green in winter, or 'Techny': pyramidal form; excellent dark green foliage year-round. Hope these suggestions help.
