I have many peach trees. we have treated the ground, tree, leaves and fruit to no avail. The fruit looks great and before it is ripe it rots on the tree and oozes sappy stuff. I purchased a peach tree today. Can I plant this tree at least 50 feet from the existing trees on my property? and not loose it to disease? Should the existing trees be cut down and burned?

You didn't mention whether or not you regularly spray your peach trees. What you describe sounds like brown rot, a fungal disease. You can use a fungicide in the early spring to help protect your trees. Check the fruit tree spray section of your local Home Depot for fungicides, and spray according to label directions. Putting your existing trees on a preventative spray schedule will also protect your new tree.
