I'm confused by your question. Is it a blackberry or a blueberry? Blueberry bushes need acidic soil and won't perform well without it. To help acidify your soil you'll need to topdress with peat moss and feed with an acidified fertilizer. You'll also want to plant a second type of blueberry for cross pollination. Blackberries will flower and fruit if they get all day sunshine. They flower and fruit on new growth so pruning yours back should encourage healthy new growth. Good luck with your plant!
