Our cactus has developed red spots.
Is this a problem? If so. what is solution?

Red spots can indicate a fungal disease, sunburn or insect feeding. If insects have damaged the skin, the red lesion will form a crust and callous over. Sunburn will turn crusty, as well. Fungal spots will spread. You can treat fungus problems with Schultz Garden Safe Fungicide. Be sure to read the label to make sure it is safe to use on cacti.
