Your tree may be a little too young to bear fruit. Or the flowers - for some reason - are not being pollinated. When small fruits begin to develop but drop off the tree when they are the size of marbles, it indicates incomplete pollination. This can be caused by late flowering (when the bees are busy with other plants), cold snaps which can damage the flowers, or even water stress. Wish I could pinpoint the exact cause in your garden but at least now you have some idea about what causes lack of fruit. Hope you can determine just what is going on with your tree!
