When do you plant calidum bulbs in Dallas, Tx area?

Caladium bulbs really like warm soil so don't be in a hurry to plant them. I usually wait until the first week of May when I know the soil is warm. They will sprout right away. If you plant earlier, they will just sit until the weather suits them and if it's too cold, they will rot. So wait for warm soil temperatures in late spring.
