I have been having mushrooms growing in a houseplant. How do I go about getting rid of them? |
If mushrooms are growing in houseplant soil, it indicates there's too much moisture in the soil, too much humidity in the air, or there's something below the soil surface that's decomposing. You can repot, using fresh soil,to eliminate the problem. Or, scrape the top inch or so of old potting soil out and replace it with new potting soil. Then try to correct the cool, moist conditions around the plant. |
