What is correct moisture meter reading for my dwarf dancy mandarin tree I just planted? I bought it at Home Depot (Four Winds Growers). Just bought a HoldAll moisture/light/ph meter Model 6004S - lists readings for everything but citrus/trees. Do I need a different meter? What do you suggest?

Your meter should read 3. Citrus trees like an evenly moist soil, but not one that's soggy wet. How often you water will depend upon the soil type and the rate of growth of your mandarin tree (more in summer, less in winter). Hope this clarifies things for you.
