What is the correct season to transplant mature raspberry plants - Spring or Fall? I want to share with my brother-in-law.

Raspberries are best transplanted in the spring. Choose a sunny, well-draining site and amend the soil with organic matter prior to planting. The new raspberry plants should become established early in the season and may even reward you with a crop of berries that same year!
