|Is there a product to apply to dirt after old grass is removed, to kill weed seeds and fertilize newly planted grass seed?

|There is no product that will both kill weed seeds and fertilize new grass seeds. Any pre emergent you use to keep weed seeds from sprouting will also keep grass seeds from sprouting. If you've already sown your grass seeds, wait until it is well established and you have mowed it 3 times. At that point you can apply a pre emergent to keep weed seeds from sprouting. Most new lawns will benefit from a starter fertilizer (applied at the time of seeding). You can begin a routine feeding program in June. Hope this answers your question.
