|I purchased 2 rose bushes late November, pruned back in December. I covered them when it got really cold and sometime in January when I removed covers, new growth already sprouting. One has buds, other none. Should I prune back again?

|No, if you pruned them in December, that should do it for the season. I hope they bloom nicely for you this year. If not, it's probably because they are busy establishing their roots. By next year they should be fully established and ready to grow. Enjoy!
