|Lavender can be lightly pruned in the spring and again in the late summer after flowering. As long as you prune it lightly (rather than pruning back to hard wood) it will continue to grow yet remain neat and compact. Lightly shear it now and when it flowers, cut back the flowering stems (and use them in potpouriis or sachets). Good luck with your lavender!
