Your average last frost date is about mid-May which means you can set out cool weather tolerant veggies about the first of May (early spring for your gardening region). Peas, beans, and leaf lettuces can tolerate cool weather; tomatoes and radishes prefer warmer temperatures. You can start your cool season veggies directly outdoor or you can start them indoors in late March or early April for transplant out in the garden when it warms. Start the cool season veggies first, followed by the warm season veggies a few weeks later. Best wishes with your garden!
