|We had a very cold winter for New Orleans & all the leaves fell off my hibiscus plants. I hope they are still alive. Should I trim the branches down to the ground or leave them at the 3 feet or so?

|I'd give the hibiscus a chance to recover before pruning it back. If the roots made it through the winter, you'll see new stems emerge and new leaf buds swell on the branches. You'll be able to tell which parts are alive and which are dead and can prune accordingly. Just give it a little more time. Hibiscus grows best in warm weather. Hope your plants make it!
