Hyacinths bloom only once a year, in the late winter/early spring. When the flower has faded, cut the flowering stalk off the plant but allow the foliage to remain. It is busy transporting energy back into the bulb for next year's flower. When the foliage dies down you can remove it from the garden. Next spring your hyacinth will flower again for you. Enjoy!
