Hibiscus - Knowledgebase Question

I love Hibiscus and had (have) a total of 8 but since the snow and freeze that hit Houston several weeks ago, they show no sign of life. Should I get rid of them? or Is there a hope they will grow back?

Tropical hibiscus can be killed back during cold winters but the roots will generally be okay. I'd give the plants a little more time to recover. They grow best when the weather is really warm. I'd prune away the dead plant parts and wait 3-4 weeks for them to respond. If you see no new growth by the middle of April, they will have to be replaced. Let's hope for the best!
