Pruning Rose Bushes - Knowledgebase Question

Due to the constant weather changes we've had here in the Woodlands area, I delayed pruning all our rose bushes untill I felt that all of the freezing had passed. However, now the tips of the roses branches are yielding leaves and are trying to bud. This is leaving a good section of the branches bare. Is it too late to cut the bushes back? If so, when should I be able to?

Not too late at all. Go ahead and give them a hard pruning now that they are beginning to leaf out. They will respond with lots of new stems and leaves. Best wishes with your roses!
