|I have tomato seedlings in peat pots and the pots have white fuzzy fungus on the outside. I cleaned it off with baking soda but everytime I water them, the next day the fuzz comes back. What should I do?

|Lots of humidity is what's causing the fungal growth. Unless the sides of the peat pots are allowed to dry out slightly, it will keep growing. Try aiming a small fan at the seedling trays. I use a 6" fan on the rotating mode and it gently blows over the seedlings. This makes the seedlings more sturdy and keeps the fungus from developing on the sides of the pots. Give it a try!
