what is the correct ph for tomatoes, cukes and potatoes?

Most garden vegetables are happy with a soil pH of 6.0 to 6.5. The exception might be for potatoes, especially if you've experienced problems with scab disease. If so, you can lower the pH to 5.5 to 6.0 for your potatoes.
