When can I put out onion plants? - Knowledgebase Question

The weather has been nice here in Bucyrus, OH 44820 and I tilled my garden today.
When can can I plant onion plants (not sets)
in my garden?

Onions don't mind cool weather so you can go ahead and set them out in the garden. If a late frost threatens, just cover them overnight and remove the covering in the morning. You can use an old sheet to cover them, or some of the spun polyester row cover sheeting available in the garden center. Hope you have a great harvest!
