If you've never grown roses before, you made a good choice! Knock Out roses are some of the easiest to grow! They are quite hardy and reasonably maintenance free, as roses go. Plant yours in a sunny spot in your garden. Prior to planting, amend the soil with some organic matter to help loosen the soil and facilitate good drainage. Water your new roses once a week in the spring - twice a week during the dog days of summer. You can prune your Knock Out roses at any time of year and prune them back hard in the spring if they threaten to overtake your garden. Enjoy your new plants!
