You can grow Yew (Taxus) from seed, but they need special treatment and lots of patience! Yew seeds should be gathered when they're mature, treated to 3 months at 70F degrees, 3 months at 45F degrees, and another 3 months at 70F degrees. Then the seeds are planted just on the surface of moistened peatmoss (they need light to germinate) and they'll take 365+ days to sprout at 70F degrees. Good luck with your project!
