What are compatible varieties to plant with a semi-dwarf moonglow pear tree and a sweet cherry tree for pollination? I purchased one of each not realizing they both need pollinators.

Moonglow is compatible with Seckel Sugar. Other acceptable cultivars include Dawn, Waite, Mangess and Starkling Delicious pear trees. Semi-dwarf trees will save room in your garden. You didn't identify your sweet cherry tree, but Bing, Lambert, and Napolean (Royal Ann) cherry trees do not pollinate one another. Plant a pollinating variety such as Black Tartarian or Republican, Stella, Van, or a sour cherry such as Montmorency nearby. Best wishes with your edible landscape!
