I just bought a black tartarian tree from home depot today however the label doesn't indicate if it is a self pollinator or if it needs another tree to produce fruit...and if so, what should I purchase.
The label says it will grow 12-15 feet, 6-8 feet wide

Sweet cherry trees do need a second variety for cross pollination. You can plant Hartland, Kristin, Ulster, Stella, Lapins, Hedelfingen, or Sweetheart. Dwarf or semi-dwarf trees will provide the pollination and won't take up too much room in the landscape. Enjoy your new trees.
