peach trees - Knowledgebase Question

in dec. i planted a floridasun and a floridahome peach tree.the floridahome is full of blossoms,but the floridasun does not appear to be doing anything.should they be blossoming at the same time or is the sun later than the home?should i be concerned about damage from the cold winter we had?anything i can do now to help it?

I understand your concern, but your tree may be too immature to flower this year. Maturity has nothing to do with size, but with age. Couple that possibility with your cold winter (where flower buds may have been damaged) and I think your tree is just acting normally. Both should flower right on time next year, once the roots are fully established and they are mature enough to develop fruits. Just be patient with your peach trees and eventually you'll be rewarded with juicy peaches.
