Usually grass greens up on its own in the spring and you only need to following a regular watering, mowing and feeding schedule. If your lawn has not yet greened up, it could be that it is a warm season grass such as bermuda and is waiting for warmer weather before it comes out of dormancy. You can start watering once or twice a week and next month you can feed your lawn with a product such as Scotts Turfbuilder. As the weather warms, your grass should begin to green up.
