During a deck project, lawn was damage (died) from stacking wood on it. What is recommended to get grass growing again? |
You might be surprised how well the lawn will recover when it receives sunlight and water. I'd rake away all the dead blades and just give it a week to recover. If it does not green up, get out your rake again and rake the area hard enough to remove the dead grass roots - down to soil level. Sprinkle some compost over the top, work it into the soil and overseed the area. The new grass seed will germinate in 7-10 days and in a few weeks your lawn will look as good as new. |
