|It's natural for broadleaf evergreens like your hibiscus to lose their oldest, innermost and lower leaves at this time of year. The leaves will be replaced by healthy new leaves in a few short weeks. It sounds as though your hibiscus is otherwise healthy - new growth and flowers - so I don't think the yellowing leaves is anything to be concerned about. Just watch it carefully. I think you'll find it developing new leaves to replace the lost ones in a short time. Enjoy your garden!
