I just goT a strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and blueberry plant @ home depot the blueberry tag is missing so I have no info about it(I'm guessing they are a year old they measure about 3 feet)and I was wondering if I can grow them in containers 'cause we're planning to stay in this house for 4 or 5 years and hate to love them.Thanks.By the way I live in the Piedmont Triad,NC.

I'm glad you asked because blueberries need an acidic soil. Growing them in containers is a perfect solution to getting the right soil pH, and being able to take them with you when you move. A 5-gallon container filled with a 50/50 mix of potting soil and peat moss should suit them just fine. Blueberries grow best in full sunshine and yours should bear a few fruit this year but more and more as they mature. Enjoy!
