Can you suggest a fern that will thrive in full sun planted in a wall fountain? I would like something that will drape over the edges and is full and a darker green foilage!

There are only a few sun tolerant ferns: Dryopteris affinis - Scaly Male Fern, Dryopteris x complexa, Dryopteris erythrosora - Autumn Fern, Dryopteris filix-mas - Male fern, Polypodium glycyrrhiza - Licorice fern and Polystichum munitum - Sword fern. As long as they are in a moist place, they will tolerate sunshine. If all else fails, you might consider planting Asparagus fern (Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri') which isn't a fern but has feathery foliage.
