There is a flowering tree that I would like to have but I do not know the name. It looks like a flowering cherry tree but the flowers are shaped like tulips I have seen them in pink and magnetta. They are blooming now in NC. I hope you can help. Thanks.Sadie

The two trees that are blooming right now are the Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) and the Hawthorn (Crataegus). The flowers are small and there are many on a branch, just like a cherry tree. Hope we guessed right!
