We purchased 3 Hibiscus plants. We live in central Michigan. After buying we found they would not winter outside. We babied them all winter inside and they did well. Even bloomed. But now I am noticing what looks like salt size spots on tops and bottom of leaves and buds are covered with larger things. I sprayed with soapy water. Came back. Help

I can't tell from your description if you are seeing whiteflies (common with hibiscus, especially in the spring) or aphids or even scale insects. Insecticidal soap sprays will control them so keep at it. Or, you might take an affected leaf or flower bud into your local garden center or Master Gardener clinic for positive identification of the problem, and suggested controls. Best wishes with your hibiscus!
