Which plants can be planted in the pool area planter? They should like full sun, have shallow root system, and not produce any seeds that can soil the pool? Thank you in advance. Alena from Florida.

If splashing pool water is a possibility, choose plants that are tolerant of the alkaline water. Examples are some species of cyclamen, salvia, juniper, hibiscus, dianthus, viburnum, hydrangea, bromeliad, queen palm, jade plant, kalanchoe, star jasmine and lavender. Enjoy your pool!
