| My plants have gotten quite large and now seem to have a second plant stem growing out of the middle. Do I need to separate and replant? If I prune these off, will the plant survive? I have never seen this with heucera. |
| It sounds as though your coral bells need to be dug and divided. If you'd rather not dig and divide you can simply snap off the extra crown, dip the bottom end in rooting hormone and pot it up. It will grow roots and you'll have a brand new plant. |
