I'm afraid there's no magic bullet - insecticides usually target specific pests so you'll want to do a little more investigation into what exactly is feasting on your garden. Slugs and snails like pansies and impatiens; caterpillars like pepper leaves. Check for slime trails (you can use Sluggo) or frass (bug poop, looks like black or brown pellets) from caterpillar feeding. Bt, sold as Dipel or Thuricide is effective against caterpillars. Hope this helps!
