I have TopHat Blueberry plants that have been wintering in my garage. When can they be safely put in the garden again? I live on Long Island New York.

I'd wait until about mid=April to take them back outdoors. They can stand some cold temperatures but if the flowers are nipped by frost, you'll lose this year's crop. Haul them out in mid-April and if a heavy frost is predicted either cover them or take them back into your garage. Best wishes with your blueberries.
