My oleanders suffered from the bitter cold this past winter. Can I prune them back without losing the plant? If so, how much? Thanks.

Oleanders can take any amount of pruning and removing all the winter damage is a good idea. Cut below the damage on the stem and vary the lengths of the stems when you cut them back. You'll end up with a full and bushy shrub within a month or so.
