Is it OK to use old car tire for planting?

You can use an old tire as a raised bed. Fill it with potting soil or a 50/50 mixture of potting soil and garden soil. Then plant your flowers or shrubs or trees. Don't grow vegetables in them, though. Tires can leach chemicals into the soil and taint the vegetable plants.
