|Even though I use my scotts 3000 broadcast spreader as directed I still get visable lines in my yard after I fertilize. Should I switch to a different kind of spreader? Is there a spreader that will not do this?

|You might try a different approach - apply half the fertilizer in a north/south direction and the second half in an east/west direction. This will ensure all of the fertilizer is applied, but that it won't be concentrated at the edges of the paths you make with the spreader and should eliminate the lines you see. Best wishes with your lawn.
