I am just starting to get into gardening. I purchased a Tropical fern plant thing from Home Depot. This is my first plant ever. How much should I water my fern and when? Does it need alot of sun?
Thanks for your help! =)

Ferns don't like sunshine so keep yours out of direct sun. Bright light is okay for them, though. Water when the top half inch of soil is dry. One way to test is to water thoroughly until water runs out of the drainage holes in the container. Wait 3-4 days and stick your finger into the soil. If it is still moist one half inch beneath the surface, you won't need to water for a few more days. If the soil is dry, it's time to water. Best wishes with your new fern!
