I'm planting raised bed vegetable garden's this year. Should I much my garden in the state of NC. If so how deep should the much be?

If you place a 3-4 inch layer of mulch on the bare soil between your plants it will help suppress weeds, slow water evaporation and help moderate soil temperatures. Use compost, leaf mold, or any organic matter that's readily available. Enjoy your new garden!
