I have a 10' x 4' raised bed area that I like to use to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs. Each season, I replace much of the soil with a product like Miracle Grow garden soil. Is this really necessary or can I just re-use the existing soil?

You can reuse the soil but I'd suggest adding a few inches of organic matter over the top and working it in to help loosen the existing soil. I'd also suggest planting your tomatoes in different garden spots each year to reduce the possibility of overwintering diseases. Rotating your veggies will help to keep them healthier.
