What is the cheapest/ best way to trellis a pink jasmine to cover a whole fence. Can I use chickenwire or will this get too hot (Zone 9)? Do I need to use wooden trellis over the whol fence?

Pink Jasmine (Jasminium polyanthum) will grow without problem in your gardening region, even up a fence. The most inexpensive trellis is simply stringing wires from the ground up the fence by attaching evenly spaced wires to a 2X4 that you bury or anchor into the ground and nailing the wires to the top of the fence, then training the vines around the wire. Or you can install a separate trellis a few inches from the fence and train the jasmine onto the trellis. Best wishes with your project!
