have rose bush for about 10 years and yet to see it producing any roses how come?

The usual problem is lack of sufficient sunshine. Roses will flower only if they get 8 or more hours of sunshine a day. You can try pruning your rose back. Pruning encourages new growth and roses flower on new growth. Hope this helps!
