hi, just moved to a new home and have lots of landscaping to do on a small budget. i'd like to start in the front of my home and was wondering about good fast growing ground cover with color. i had thought about ground cover roses. any suggestions? thanks!

Groundcover roses are a good choice but there are many, many more for you to consider. Vinca, Pachysandra, Lirope, creeping Thyme, ornamental strawberry, wintercreeper Euonymus, ajuga (carpet bugle) and Cotoneaster are all good choices for your gardening region and all are relatively fast growers. Best wishes with your new landscape!
