I have tiny white insects all over my bougainvillea. What should I do?

If they fly when you touch the plant, they are whiteflies. These little pests are really difficult to control. You can try simply hosing off your bougainvillea to deter them or you may have to use an insecticidal soap spray to kill them. More will arrive, though, since they can fly through the air. I have more success spraying in the early morning or at dusk when they are resting. Best wishes with your bougainvillea!
