Asparagus can be planted from mid-April to late May after the soil has warmed up to about 50 degrees F. Dig a furrow 5 to 6 inches deep and plant the crowns. Start by removing the rubberband and separating the sticks. Set each stick into the soil, burying the stick. Space each stick about 12" apart. Keep your asparagus bed well watered and you'll see new growth 2-3 weeks after planting. Enjoy!
