i bought more seeds than i can plant (string beans), can i save them til next year, if so how? thankyou

You can save your extra seed for planting next year. Heat, light and dampness can damage the seeds so store them in an airtight container and place them in a cool, dark place until next spring. I just leave mine in their packets, place them in a mason jar with a screw-on cap, and set them on a closet floor. Be sure to make a note on your calendar so you remember you're saving seeds and you'll be all set to plant next spring.
