Chelone obliqua, or turtlehead, are easy to grow perennials. They adapt to all soil types and grow without any special care. They can be divided if they become overcrowded (3-4 years after planting) but digging and dividing isn't necessary unless they stop blooming due to overcrowding. Just keep them watered regularly during the growing season and they should reward you with lots of blooms.
