I have pruned my apple trees this spring and they look great. I need to prune my plums as well. When can I prune these? Can I still do it this spring or do I need to wait until June?

It's best to prune your plum tree in June?the growing season?when the chances of healing are quicker and contracting diseases are minimal. Fungal diseases, once contracted, spread through the entire tree, greatly reducing the size, quality and quantity of your fruit. I'd wait until June to prune your plum trees.
